A production origin can
give you Context.
It cannot automatically
give an ArT Toy meaning.
As Sofubi travels
internationally, the real cultural question becomes whether artists simply
reproduce an established aesthetic or transform the language through their own
Identity.

as Mexafubi, for example, become significant.
Not because “Sofubi is now
Mexican.”
Because infrastructure
changes what artists are capable of doing.
Sculptors.
Modellers.
Producers.
Painters.
Shops.
Collectors.
Once those relationships
exist locally, artists can move beyond imitation and begin manufacturing their
own cultural imagination.
