ArT Toy Newsletter 190: The Invisible Chain That Keeps ArT Toys Alive

Near the end of Papyrus: The Invention of Books in the Ancient World, Irene Vallejo writes that humanity challenged the absolute power of destruction by inventing writing and books.

Through books, ideas gained a longer life. Stories crossed time. Dreams reached people who had not yet been born.

And something beautiful happened.

An invisible chain of people appeared.

Men and women who did not know each other, but who protected stories, thoughts and memories across centuries.

That idea connects directly with the ArT Toy Movement.

Because ArT Toys also survive through a chain.

An artist creates a character.
A collector protects it.
A gallery shows it.
A curator gives it context.
A shop helps it circulate.
A writer records its meaning.
A visitor remembers the encounter.

Each person becomes a link.

Without stories, collections become inventory.
With care, they become culture.
